Marta Baranowska

 

Architect, project coordinator and specialist in the Education Department at the National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning (NIAiU). She gained experience cooperating with institutions and NGOs in the field of architectural education and studies of urban space. She founded the “Local” project, in which she has pursued initiatives in spatial education, including a unique series of educational gadgets and workshops under the title “Arrange a City” and a series of exercises called “The Shape of My City.” She has written and illustrated texts on urban space published in the architectural quarterly Rzut and elsewhere. She was the co-author of the exhibition Noncartographic Maps in 2019 in the Jazdów district of Warsaw. She pursues architectural photography, particularly documenting changes in urban space, for example in the series Wola Under Construction
